クリスマスイベントでクリスマスソングをみんなで歌おうなどという話になったのですが、それも英語で。
じゃぁみんなが知っていて歌える歌ってなんだろうという話になったので、有名どころをまとめて見ました。
「We Wish You A Merry Christmas」

これはもうド定番ですね。
「♪We wish you a merry Christmas,〜♪」のフレーズは覚えやすいし、この曲を聴くとウキウキしますね。

日本語でもよく歌われる「きよしこの夜」。
ちょっとしっとりした感じですね。

これもこの時期になるとよく聞きますね〜。
やっぱりサビの部分はなんとなくわかるもんですね。
「赤鼻のトナカイ」

「赤鼻のトナカイ」は英語では「Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer」。
英語バージョンはあんまり聞いた事なかった。
「Joy To The World（もろびとこぞりて）」

「もろびとこぞりて」の英語版。
これは聞き覚えありますね。

ここだけなんとなく覚えてます。
「O Christmas Tree（もみの木）」

これは教会で歌われているイメージですね。

聞くと「あ〜」ってなります。

クリスマス時期になるとあらゆるところで耳にしますね。
これ発売されたの1994年なんですね！
なんと25年前！
すげー。
「Last Christmas（ラストクリスマス）」

これも外せない定番中の定番、Wham!（ワム!）の「Last Christmas（ラストクリスマス）」。
これリリースは1984年！
35年前かー。
世界中でいろんなアーティストにカバーもされてますね。

これも冬の定番になったのかな？
「アナと雪の女王２」も公開されたので、今年もいろんなとこで耳にしそうですね。
聞き覚えがあるものと、歌詞の一部でもわかるものを中心にまとめてみましたが結構ありますね。

この時期、そしてクリスマスソングを聞くと何故かウキウキしますよね〜。
